B.G. The Prince Of Rap is the stage name used by Washington D.C. rapper and dance music artist Bernard Greene. Bernard Greene joined the army after graduating from high school and was sent to Germany in 1985.
His biggest hit came in 1991 when he reached number one on the Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart with "This Beat Is Hot" The single made it to number seventy-two on the Hot 100 and number fifty-four on the Hot Black singles chart. [1]. He followed that up with "Take Control Of the Party," which reached number two on the dance chart the following year. Other well-known songs by this artist are "The Color of My Dreams"
