The Chilean tennis player ranked No. 10 in the ATP sought help from the world to help his country after the earthquake and tsunami that hit Chile
The grade 8.8 Richter earthquake was located 63 kilometers from the city of Concepcion, VIII region, 560 kms south of Santiago de Chile and lasted 4 minutes seriously affecting the city and surrounding.
Fernando Gonzalez went to Maipu and recorded this video where he requests help of the whole world for the chilean catastrophe.
Gonzo decided not to play at Masters 1000 Indian Wells, so after the Davis Cup tie against Israel he will help in the reconstruction of south of Chile after the earthquake.
